Going Coastal

Yesterday was one of those "fly by the seat of your pants" days. So fly we did and our pants took us to the ocean. We jumped in the car and headed for the sand and sea. We spent the day walking and my oh so lovely husband spent half of the day posing at my request.

There are times when life seems mundane or uneventful but this day I felt how special life was and tried to capture some of it in some images. A special highlight of the day would have to be when Regan walks off with Noah and I turn around to see a group of Asian tourists posing for photos with Noah!

One thing I have noticed is how easy it is to meet knew people when you're holding a camera, it's a real conversation starter! Regan also had a shot using the camera to get some shots of me and Noah and I think he did such an excellent job. His photos are the ones of me in it :)

  1. Ellen, I clicked on your Blog because I had 'follow'ed it on my Blog, and had forgotten who you were until I scrolled down to the second photo, then thought, 'Wow! This must be the girl who takes the great photos!' :) It was easy to recognize your style from your pictures :) I hope you keep taking lots of photos, because some of these are really good!

    1. Thanks so much Sandy. That is so lovely for you to say. I am really enjoying taking photos and don't think I'll be stopping any time soon :)

  2. Wow! Your photos are fantastic. You're really developing an artistic eye. Some of your photos I would be happy to hang on my wall xx
